Pierre Cahuc, Head of LIEPP

Pierre Cahuc is head of the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP) since August 2026.
Pierre Cahuc is a professor of economics in the Department of Economics at Sciences Po, a senior member of the Institut universitaire de France, and director of the “Securing Career Paths” Chair at Sciences Po. He is editor-in-chief of IZA@LISER World of Labor.
He is a research associate at the Institut Louis Bachelier, the IZA@LISER network, the CEPR, the Institute for Fiscal Studies, and the ROCKWOOL Foundation Berlin. He served on the Economic Analysis Council from 2006 to 2010 and again from 2012 to 2016.
Before joining Sciences Po in 2018, he was a professor at École Polytechnique and ENSAE, and directed the macroeconomics laboratory as well as the economic research program at CREST. His work focuses primarily on labor economics, macroeconomics, and the evaluation of public policies, particularly in the areas of employment, employment protection, unemployment insurance, and the integration of young people into the workforce.

Andreana Khristova est secrétaire générale du LIEPP. Docteure en économie (Université Lorraine), elle a rejoint le LIEPP en 2015 comme chargée de la coordination des projets de l’axe Politiques éducatives, puis comme chargée de développement scientifique et de valorisation. Auparavant, elle a travaillé en tant que chargée d’étude pour le CNRS et le CEREQ (Centre d’étude et de recherche sur les qualifications) en participant à de multiples projets de recherche nationaux et internationaux. Elle a également rempli des missions d’encadrement et d’enseignement au sein de l’IRTS et l’Université de Lorraine.

Evane Grossemy is communication and research dissemination officer at LIEPP. She holds a Master in Public and Political Communication and she joined LIEPP after working as a communication officer for scientific project carried by Inalco.
