For the past four years, the movement ¡Aguanta Ucrania! has mobilised Latin American solidarity around Ukraine. Building on this momentum, this event will convene leading practitioners, academics and public figures to explore how transatlantic alliances can be strengthened in support of Ukraine and, more broadly, the international legal order.

Join us for a high-level panel discussion with:

  • Rosemary Ann Byrne, Professor of International Law, PSIA
  • Jean Michel Blanquer, former Minister of Education, France
  • Pavlo Klimkin, former Minister of foreign affairs, Ukraine
  • Norton Rapesta, former Ambassador of Brazil to Ukraine
  • Michael Reid, Author and former Americas Editor, The Economist

With video-messages from:

  • Laura Chinchilla, former President of Costa Rica
  • Oleksandra Matviichuk, Director, Center for civil liberties, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate

Moderated by Sergio Jaramillo, former High Commissioner for Peace, Colombia / ¡Aguanta Ucrania!
