The Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) is delighted to welcome Ms. Anabel González, Vice President for Countries of the Inter-American Development Bank, a leading authority in international trade, who will share her expert insights on global trade dynamics, particularly focusing on Latin America and the Caribbean.

The event will start with a presentation on “Rethinking Global Trade in the Western Hemisphere: What Role for Latin America and the Caribbean?”, addressing the challenges and opportunities these regions encounter in the global trade environment, and how they can capitalize on their unique advantages to improve their position in the global market. A question and answer session will follow.

She has over 30 years of experience in the field of economic development, focusing on trade, investment, competitiveness, and the role of the private sector. This conversation will be chaired by PSIA Dean Arancha González.
