The Cour des Comptes supports the Talent Preparatory Classes

Pierre Moscovici, First President of the Cour des comptes (Court of Auditors), and Mathias Vicherat, Director of Sciences Po Paris, have signed a partnership agreement regarding the Talent Preparatory Classes coordinated by Sciences Po, in which the universities of Sorbonne Paris Nord, Reims Champagne-Ardenne and Poitiers are also associated.

With this agreement, the Cour des comptes demonstrates its commitment to social diversity in the senior civil service. In addition to paying close attention to diversity in its own recruitment, the Cour supports the efforts made to help students from modest backgrounds to prepare for the competitive examinations for senior civil servants under the best possible conditions.

The students of the Talent Preparatory Classes coordinated by the School of Public Affairs will be offered internships at the Cour des comptes, mentoring, participation in conferences and other valuable events to deepen their knowledge of specific subjects and have access to the very best content. The First President Pierre Moscovici will himself give an overview of public finance and public policy issues dealt with by the Cour des comptes to the Talent Preparatory Class students.

For Pierre Moscovici, “Open access and inclusion is a guarantee of success in public service. The senior civil service must better reflect the diversity of society in order to be closer to the expectations of our fellow citizens and to attract all talents, wherever they come from, to serve the general interest.”

"We are very pleased with this partnership with the Cour des Comptes and its commitment to our Talent Preparatory Classes in order to actively contribute, alongside us, to the diversification of the senior civil service. The support of the Cour des Comptes is a precious asset for the execution of this ambition of social inclusion, excellence and equal opportunities which has been at the heart of Sciences Po's educational project for more than 20 years", praised Mathias Vicherat.
