Alexander Wollenweber has graduated in International Economic Policy, dual degree with LSE, concentrating in quantitative methods. He is pursuing a PhD at Oxford University assessing the macro-financial implications of nature loss and climate change for sovereign debt sustainability. Next to his studies, he is a research assistant at LSE’s Earth Capital Nexus, and currently works as a Research Economist (PhD Intern) at S&P Global Ratings in London.

On Friday, 3 October, the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po had the distinct honour of hosting Professor Joseph Stiglitz, recipient of the 2001 Nobel Prize in Economics, as part of its signature Fireside Chat series.
Coming from Mexico, Valeria moved to France in 2020. She has graduated in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action with the Enhanced Master Option and a concentration in Migrations. Since 2023, she has been working as an ESG Analyst at EthiFinance, a European financial services group that provides ESG research, credit ratings, and sustainability advisory for companies and investors. Valeria is based in Paris, but the team spans Lyon, Madrid, Granada, Hannover and Frankfurt.
Dmitry Borisov graduated cum laude from in International Security with a focus on the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa. Since 2023, he has served as a Political Affairs Officer with the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA) in New York. Previously, he worked with a UN body investigating allegations of gross violations of human rights and international humanitarian law, following five years with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva and the West Bank.
Dr. Christelle Comair has graduated in International Public Management (now International Governance & Diplomacy) with a focus on Middle East studies and diplomacy. She also holds a PhD in International Relations from the University Paris-Saclay. She serves as an Assistant Professor and as the Founding Director of the Women’s Research Centre at the Royal University for Women in Bahrain—the first Centre of its kind in the region dedicated to women’s studies. In this role, she combines teaching, research, and leadership to shape evidence-based policies, build partnerships, and promote women’s advancement across academia, government, and international platforms.
A vibrant start to a new academic year
Hannah Weifenbach has graduated in International Development with the thematic concentration in project management and a regional focus on Africa in 2021. She works as evaluation manager in the corporate evaluation unit of GIZ, the German Implementing Agency for Development, in Bonn, Germany.

On Saturday 30 June, we celebrated the graduation of nearly 700 students of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at the iconic Grand Rex theatre in Paris. Surrounded by family, loved ones and faculty, graduates of the Class of 2025 completed their academic journey.

Co-organized with the World Sufficiency Lab (WSL), the summer school brought together 20 graduate students from Sciences Po Paris and Canadian partner universities for a hands-on, policy-engaged experience, grounded in the leadership of Dr. Yamina Saheb, IPCC author and Director of the WSL, and of the CARE Program at PSIA.
Julia has graduated in International Governance and Diplomacy, with the concentration “Environment and Sustainability”. She also wrote a Master’s thesis, focusing on how international climate discourse is reflected in EU trade agreements. Swiss citizen, she is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the World Trade Institute in Bern. Her doctoral thesis also focuses on the intersections of trade policy and climate action.
