An insight from Jamieson Greer, in conversation with Emily de la Bruyère.

After a 10-minute insight from Jamieson Greer on trade negotiation(s) from his time at USTR, he will discuss with Emily de la Bruyère the relationship between China and the United States, and how is Europe fitting in this new global world. They will talk trade, digital technology, espionnage, Covid, etc.

Jamieson Greer is a partner in the International Trade team at King & Spalding. His practice covers trade remedy litigation, trade policy, WTO dispute settlement, export controls, economic sanctions, CFIUS, anti-corruption, customs and import, private equity and debt financing. He has represented clients in trade remedy litigation before the Department of Commerce, the International Trade Commission and federal courts. His clients include manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals, investment services, insurance, hospitality, aerospace and defense and technology companies.

Emily de La Bruyère is a co-founder of Horizon Advisory. She has led extensive China research programs and developed novel analysis tools and techniques. She received her BA summa cum laude from Princeton University and her MA summa cum laude from Sciences Po, Paris, where she was the Michel David-Weill Fellow. Her public commentaries have been published in The New York Times, Bloomberg, and the Wall Street Journal. Her expertise has been cited in sources ranging from Tech Crunch to Politico.
