Discover the city

Just 45 minutes from Paris by train, Reims is a Gallo-Roman city that has occupied an important place in the history of France: a Roman capital, it was also the city where the French kings were coronated. Reims enjoys an international reputation thanks to the prestigious houses of Champagne, of which most estates are within the city.

It's easy to find a place to stay in one of Poitier's many student residences or in a private flat.

If you want to live a homestay experience, please consult the Welcome2France website.

Culture & Leisure

The Reims Opera (fr.) theatre, the Cartonnerie (fr.) (modern music), the Comédie de Reims (fr.) (classical and contemporary theatre) and the Manège (fr.) (dance, music and circus shows) are places of entertainment and cultural discovery that testify to the artistic vitality of the region.

Several festivals are held each year, such as "Les Flâneries musicales (fr.)" in early summer and "Magnifique Society (fr.)" in May.

Reims has quality sports facilities, including several pools, many football pitches, gymnasiums, a climbing wall, a rowing club, etc.
