The ways in which research in the social sciences and humanities is disseminated has been evolving significantly, incorporating various artistic expressions: writing workshops, theatrical performances, collective readings, sensory mappings, film dissertations, podcasts, graphic novels, and beyond. Our teaching practices are adapting accordingly, increasingly integrating these artistic media as alternative ways of exploring knowledge and methods in the social sciences, while fostering students' imagination and engagement.

How is this interplay between the arts, the humanities and the social sciences being concretely constructed? What transformations do these innovative practices bring about in knowledge transmission, the pedagogical experience, and the redefinition of disciplinary boundaries?

The program for this RETEX, organized by the Department of Political Science in partnership with the Maison des Arts et de la Création of Sciences Po, will feature presentations and discussions designed to explore these questions through concrete feedback from professionals who have incorporated the arts in their pedagogical practices as well as collective reflection.
