Marie Azuelos, Director
Marie Azuelos has been working in the field of international education for the past 15 years. At Sciences Po, she most recently served as International Affairs Manager for Asia and the Pacific, and then as Program Manager of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. Before that, she worked at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ecole des Ponts ParisTech. Marie is a graduate of Sciences Po and Université Paris Sorbonne.
Jan Rovny, Academic Advisor for the Social Sciences Track
Jan Rovny is an associate professor at Sciences Po at the Center for European Studies (CEE) and the Interdisciplinary Research Center for the Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP). He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is also a graduate of McGill University (BA) and the College of Europe (MA). He has previously taught in the United States, the Czech Republic, Germany and Sweden. His research concentrates on political competition in Europe with the aim of uncovering the ideological conflict lines in different countries. He is also one of the principal researchers of the Chapel Hill Expert Survey on party positioning -- the most comprehensive survey assessing ideological placements of political parties in Europe.
Stéphanie Palisse, Academic Advisor for the French Language Track
Stéphanie Palisse joined Sciences Po in 2021 as an academic advisor for the French language track. She is an Assistant Professor of Teaching and director of the French Program at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She is also the director of the Centre de la Francophonie of UBC. Prior to joining UBC, she was the director of one of the Alliance Française campuses in Toronto. Stéphanie Palisse holds a PhD in Language Sciences (Lyon 2 University) and has been teaching French as a foreign language since 2005 within different institutions (Simon Fraser University, Alliance Française, University of British Columbia, Cultural Center, Canadian government).
Chloé Pradal-Morand, Programme Manager
Chloé Pradal-Morand is a member of the Sciences Po Summer School team since March 2022. After working as a French as a foreign language teacher, Chloé joined the French Embassy in Australia where she developed a deep interest in international higher education. She then worked as a communications officer for the Australian National University's Global Programs team. Back in France, she joined the Université PSL as the Head of the international student welcome desk. Chloé holds a French-German Master's degree in European Studies.
Anita Perez, Pre-College Programme Manager
Anita Perez has been working at Sciences Po for the past 9 years in different capacities and departments (School of Public Affairs, Department of International Affairs...) and she most recently served as the International Undergraduate Admissions Manager within the Admissions Department. Prior to that, Anita worked for Ernst & Young (EY) in the Markets/Business Development team and for the Manpower recruitment agency in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Bérangère Mahet, Programme Manager
Bérangère Mahet joined Sciences Po in 2018. Before that she worked in the administration of higher education institutions for 10 years. She previously worked for the College of Paris and the Alliance Française in Christchurch, New Zealand. She holds a Bachelors in Language Didactics (Sorbonne University) and a Masters in Educational Sciences (Descartes University).
Auravelia Colomer, Communications Manager
Auravelia Colomer joined Sciences Po in 2020. She has been working in communications and marketing for over 10 years in France, Canada and the USA. She previously worked at the UNHCR - United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Booking.com, the Chemin Neuf Community and Euronews. While in Canada, she worked as a communications consultant at Media Profile in Toronto and as a sports protocol manager at the 2015 Pan American Games. She completed her master’s degree in Communications, Branding & Digital from CELSA-Sorbonne University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Waterloo in Communications & Business and Postgraduate Diplomas in Public Relations (Humber College) and Journalism (George Brown College).
Annie-Rose Heywood, Coordinator
New to Paris and passionate about international relations, Annie is thrilled to have joined the Summer School & Short Courses team in November 2021. She has experience working in a variety of roles in different sectors before joining Sciences Po, ranging from sporting events management in the UK to Airbus in Toulouse. Annie has a Bachelors degree in International Relations and a Masters degree in Security, Terrorism and Insurgency (University of Leeds).
