Overview of the Summer School
The Sciences Po Summer School provides students from all over the world with an opportunity to discover France’s leading university in the social sciences. The Summer School proposes two types of programme.
University Programmes
Designed for students in their final year of secondary school, current higher education students, and graduated professionals alike, the University Programme of the Summer School offers an academic experience of excellence in the heart of the capital. Participants choose between two distinct academic tracks: social sciences or French language.
Flexible and intensive, this summer programme in Paris features two separate four-week sessions during the months of June and July. Additionally, a brand new two-week Intensive Policy Lab is available in July to enrich the experience. All courses are held on the Paris campus in the historic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
Pre-college Programmes
Open exclusively to students enrolled in secondary school in Fall 2026, these summer programmes offer challenging coursework in social sciences, entirely taught in english.
To best suit everyone's needs, this summer training is divided into two distinct sessions: an on-campus session on the beautiful Reims campus lasting just over two weeks, or an online programme lasting two weeks. This distance-learning option offers a unique opportunity to experience university life from home, focusing on a major contemporary international issue with the Online Programme Bootcamps on World Climate Negotiations.
