Alice Judell

Alice holds a Bachelor of Arts in Languages from the Université Paris 4 – La Sorbonne in Paris, and a Master's degree in International Studies from the University of Sydney. After an internship at the United Nations International Trade Centre in the sustainable development department, she graduated from a Master's degree by research in International Relations at the Université Paris 1 – La Sorbonne, with a thesis on international e-waste trafficking. She also participated in a major international research project on transnational social movements at the 2011 World Social Forum in Senegal. 

After her studies, Alice became an academic tutor and a graduate researcher at the University of Sydney and at the French Centre for Ethiopian Studies in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. These experiences led her to take on the coordinator role for the Politics Department at Lancaster University on their campus in Accra, Ghana. There, she was a Politics and IR lecturer specialising in Foreign Policy, Peace and Conflict studies and Development studies. She has also taught US Foreign Policy at the Reims College Campus of Sciences Po.


Office hours (by appointment only): Tuesdays 2.30-5pm, Wednesdays 10am-1pm, Thursdays 2.30-5pm
