After visiting Milan, Madrid and Berlin, four stars of British literature stopped by Sciences Po on 25 November to talk to their readers and students in Boutmy lecture theatre.
Kate Mosse, Jojo Moyes, and Lee Child joined Ken Follett in sharing a message of friendship and unity, at a time when feelings of confusion and attempts at rupture are spreading across Europe.
Together on stage, the authors discussed their work, their influences, and their shared desire to remain European, whatever the political climate on the other side of the Channel.
The event was co-organised by the Sciences Po Writing and Rhetoric Centre, which aims to promote reflection on the use of language throughout Sciences Po’s teaching programmes.
We are very grateful to the partners who made this event possible: FNAC and Bragelonne Publishing, Calmann Lévy, Le Livre de Poche, Robert Laffont, and Sonatine.
The Writing and Rhetoric Centre is supported by the Fnac Darty group and the Simone and Cino Del Duca Foundation.
