The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Sciences Po supported talented African students through their studies and offered the next generation of leaders a world-class social science education, so they could go on to become changemakers in their home countries.

The scholarships were awarded to students from African countries. The scholarships are awarded for a period of two years for the Master's degree. They cover the full cost of tuition fees at Sciences Po and living costs in France during the study period.

Supporting research activities 

Research at Sciences Po has a dual purpose: to contribute to the analysis of the contemporary world and to work towards its transformation by underpinning our teaching. By tackling fundamental questions while remaining constantly engaged with society, our research enriches public and academic debate, with an impact in France and abroad. Our research chairs and programmes cover a wide range of fields to address tomorrow’s challenges.

Help transform our campuses

Transforming our campuses is a fundamental challenge if our students are to study in the best possible conditions. Following the opening of Saint-Thomas in 2022 with the launch of the rehabilitation of the 56 rue des Saints-Pères building.
