Trine Juul Reder is currently doing her PhD at Aalborg University as part of a research project about the history of the OECD in the field of education. The PhD research draws on the academic disciplines of political science, sociology and history and examines the history of the global impact of OECD on educational policies in member states (USA and Denmark) and non-member states (Brazil and China).
Her background is interdisciplinary with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts. She has worked with evaluations in a Danish governmental institute and at a university college in Copenhagen. As a PhD fellow, she supervises students on bachelor and master level at Aalborg University.

Research interests

Comparative and international educational research, international organizations, political sociology, political history and mixed methods research.

Visiting projects and objectives

As a visiting PhD student at Sciences Po, Trine Juul Reder will work on her PhD research about the historical governance of OECD in the field of education focusing in particular on the relations to non-member states and the cooperation between OECD and other international organisations.
