Career actions and opportunities
The transition from education to the job market is a crucial step. Planning an international career requires a solid understanding of the employment trends, career opportunities and cultural differences worldwide.
At the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), we support our students throughout their time with us to help them pursue their professional goals. By giving them access to a wide range of dedicated resources and events, as well as PSIA’s network of Alumni, Faculty and Professionals, students are able to plan and refine their career path and relevant opportunities.
The resources made available are responsive to PSIA students. Step by step, it enhances their skills and facilitates employability, as a complement to the support and activities provided by Sciences Po Career Service.
A wide range of career paths
By the end of their Master, PSIA graduates are well positioned to pursue high-profile careers. Our graduates work across the globe, in governments, NGOs and the private sector. They become political advisors, public servants, analysts, researchers, diplomats, consultants, entrepreneurs and innovators.
We encourage you to Read testimonials from our graduates.
Sciences Po conducts an annual survey to determine how graduates are doing 18 months after completing their degree programs. Here are the headline figures for PSIA’s Class of 2020:
- 77% of those who sought work were employed within 6 months after graduating
- 31% secured a job before they graduated
