A team of 10 PSIA students, enrolled in the Master in International Security, took part in the first NATO policy hackathon: “New ideas for NATO2030.”

Starting on Friday 29 January, they work tirelessly on their assignment. The PSIA team ‘Operation Resolute Baguette’ came up with innovative NATO policy solutions to protect civilians in modern-conflict. The exercise culminated on Thursday 4 February during a public event.

The team presented their pitch and answered questions, alongside the teams of 9 major world universities, including Harvard University, John Hopkins or King’s College London. An expert jury and the live audience assessed all contributions. The winner of this first hackathon was Freie Universitat Berlin, with PSIA as the runner-up.

Congratulations to the PSIA team for the hard work! @PSIASciencesPo #NATO2030
