Paris School of International Affairs;France hosted the first "No Money for Terror" (NMFT) conference in 2018 and set the Paris Agenda on countering the financing of terrorism. Since then, the high-level NMFT conference has been hosted in Melbourne, New Delhi, and Munich, and is returning to France for a ministerial session on 19 May 2026.
The evening before this important diplomatic engagement, the Paris School of International Affairs at SciencesPo will welcome an expert panel to discuss the future of the fight against terrorism financing amidst seismic shifts in both the threat and technology landscape.
The discussion will assess terrorism financing in a global context with a focus on international cooperation to tackle this transnational security issue. Speakers will address the financial tradecraft of territory-controlling terrorist groups, as well as new
frontiers of terrorism financing using rapidly evolving financial technologies.
Bringing together national and international policymakers, the private sector and academia, this panel event reflects the true diversity of stakeholders involved in the maintenance of a strong and responsive regime to counter the financing of terrorism.
The line-up of speakers will be revealed soon.
