The European elections in June 2024 will shape the European Parliament for the five years to come and determine the next leadership of the European Institutions. Two key figures on European affairs will engage in a Franco-German dialogue on the central issues in the run-up to the Union’s first major democratic exercise since the Covid-19 pandemic and the launch of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Dr. Franziska Brantner, Member of the German Parliament, and Mr. Clément Beaune, Member of the French Parliament, will exchange views on key issues at stake in the European Parliament elections, from the economy to climate change and the role of the EU in international affairs.

The event will be in English and French, simultaneous interpretation will be provided on-site.

This event is co-organized by PSIA and the Jacques Delors Institute.
