Dean Tang will discuss and exchange with PSIA students on China and its significance in global affairs.
Tang Shiqi has been committed to the studies on Western political philosophy, comparative thought, and comparative politics. His works include State and Society: a Comparative Study of Theories and Practices of Socialist States (1998), American Government and Politics (1998), Globalization and Territoriality: State and Society in Economic Globalization (2008), The History of Western Political Thought (2002, 2010), Rationalism in Politics: Its origin, evolution and Sublation (2020), World Polities in Transition 1979-2009 (2011), and Being of Concreteness and Possibility: A Restudy of Heidegger’s Thought (2024).
The conversation, which will take place under Chatham House rules, will be chaired by PSIA Dean, Arancha González.
