Youth and Leaders Summit

The Youth & Leaders Summit brings together leaders and thinkers in international affairs to engage in an open dialogue with PSIA students who represent the new generation of international actors from around the globe.

Snapshot

Launched in January 2016 by the Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po (PSIA) the Youth & Leaders Summit is an annual PSIA conference on complex international issues that brings together today’s leading international affairs personalities with PSIA students.

We believe that engaging the Youth and constructing the platform to reflect their voice is essential, not only because they are future change makers, but also current ones.

The Youth & Leaders Summit is a unique concept where both Youth and current leaders discuss our society’s issues together. It is a platform where Youth can engage, raise their own voice, and challenge the leaders. The event is thus organised for, but also by PSIA students, as dozens of students contribute each year to its organization - previous to, and on the day of the event. So far, over 60 prominent international actors, including Gro Harlem Brundtland (Elder, former UN Special Envoy on Climate Change), Margrethe Vestager (European Commissioner for Competition), Sir Richard Branson (Founder of the Virgin Group), and Mohamed ElBaradei (Nobel Peace Prize laureate), and over 4,000 diverse and dynamic participants, have led the conferences to success.
