Indeed, the company contributes to the development of the studies and the research conducted under the framework of the program " Cities and territories " of Sciences Po which includes itself a research program called " Cities are back in town ". The town planners of the world Association

They also benefit, within the framework of their internship or search projects, the support of a senior referent of Town planners of the World, specialist of the handled subject. The results of the works are every year the object of a public presentation during a Forum.

Grand Paris Society
The Urban School and the European studies Center of Sciences Po recently partner with the Grand Paris Society. As part of this multiannual partnership, it was decided to introduce a reflection and research seminar concerning the governance and the realization of the big city planning and transport projects in Grand Paris, London and New York.
The will of the partners is double. On one hand, it is a question of develop our knowledge of the projects set up and posed by and around Big Paris Express. On the other hand, it seems to us necessary to put on the opposite page the initiatives of the Parisian metropolis with other comparable metropolitan areas and registered in the competition of the big international metropolises. The metropolises of London and New York City were selected because of their close surface, their comparable demography, their economic dynamism and because of their experience regarding transport. The comparative look has to allow to value some succesfull innovative experiences within these two metropolises, while learning obstacles met in the realization of their projects.
Partnership of search between EDF, the European studies center and the Urban School of Sciences Po, with the support of the transverse program Cities are back in town about the transformations led by the energy transition in the electricity sector in France.
Since a few years, the energy markets functioning knows important transformations : crisis of 2008 and its consequences on the demand, wholesale price decrease, the development of the ENR, the development of the shale gas, the revaluation of the strategies and the positioning of some energy groups, etc. Among all these evolutions, the energy transition appeared to be a structuring element because it commits transformations which have vocation to impact in a strong and long-lasting way the whole electricity sector.
Centered on the dynamics which characterize, on the long lasting, the evolution of the energy public policies, we shall wonder about the forms taken by the public action, the objectives which underlie it, the instruments which are used to implement it and their effects.
