This conference has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under
the European Union’s
Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (Grant agreement No. 866274).
Alfred Galichon, Affiliated Faculty member of the Department and Director and Professor of Economics at NYU Paris, was awarded an ERC Consolidator grant in 2020 for his project Equilibrium methods for Resource Allocations and Dynamic Pricing - EQUIPRICE hosted by Sciences Po.
As the project draws to a close, the Department is hosting a final workshop in family economics and matching with keynote guest speaker Pierre-André Chiappori (E. Rowan and Barbara Steinschneider Professor of Economics, Columbia University).

Pierre-André Chiappori's research focuses on household behaviour, risk, insurance and contract theory, general equilibrium and mathematical economics. He is a Fellow of the European Economic Association, of the Econometric Society and of the Society of Labor Economists, and a Distinguished Fellow of the Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics at the University of Chicago.
The workshop aims to bring together young researchers working on family economics and matching to share new research and foster exchange across related fields. It will provide a platform for early-career scholars to receive feedback, build collaborations, and advance the study of household decision-making and partner matching.
