Portrait of Laurent Taskin and cover of his book

Practised discretely in the 90s, then massively imposed during the COVID-19 health crisis, teleworking has changed the way things are done. Working remotely has become a way of life, changing the relationship to work for both those who are entitled to it and the majority who do not have access to it.

On the occasion of the publication of the latest book in the Sécuriser l'emploi Collection (SciencesPo Les Presses), economics professor and author of Télétravail, un mode de vie, Laurent Taskin (UC Louvain and Paris-Dauphine, PSL) will discuss the contrasting effects of working remotely which has become a new way of life.

Laurent Taskin is Professor at the Louvain School of Management (UC Louvain) and visiting professor at Université Paris Dauphine PSL. Member of the Louvain Research Institute in Management and Organization (LouRIM), his research focuses on the organisational and social issues raised by new forms of (work) organisation, and is at the heart of the “Human Management” perspective.

Claudia Senik, Professor of Economics at PSE, international specialist in welfare economics and behavioural economics, will be discussing.

Pierre Cahuc, Professor of Economics at Sciences Po and Chair of Sécurisation des parcours professionels, will host the webinar.
