Axel Gottfries is Associate Professor (Reader) at the University of Edinburgh's School of Economics since Fall 2019. He was the McCalm Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, just after defending his doctoral thesis at Cambridge University.
His research interests focus on macroeconomics, labour economics and economic theory.
He will present a paper, joint with Gregor Jarosch, at the next Structural Seminar on the topic:
