Jeteesha Foollee is a PhD Candidate in Economics at Sciences Po working on a thesis entitled Essays in Intergenerational Social Mobility in Africa under the supervision of Clément Imbert. 

She will present a paper at the next Friday Seminar on the topic:

Minimum Wage Reform, Informality, and Gender Inequality in Mauritius

 


Julia Cagé is Professor of Economics at the Department which she joined in 2014. She is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), where she also leads the CEPR Research and Policy Network on “Media Plurality”, and a Research Fellow of the CESifo Research Network.

Her research focuses on political economy, industrial organization and economic history. She is particularly interested in media economics, political participation and political attitudes. Her research has been published in a number of peer-reviewed international journals and she was awarded a European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant for her 5-year project Campaign Finance, Information and Influence: A ComprehensIve Approach Using Individual-Level Data and Computer Science Tools (PARTICIPATE).  In 2023, she was laureate of the Best Young French Economist Award (ex aequo) and in 2025, co-laureate of the Yrjö Jahnsson Award.
