Russian economy on war footing

Russia economy on war footing
“After the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 Russia’s economy has changed in many ways. Sanctions and foreign companies’ exodus from the country have made Russia more isolated from the global economy, while its dependence on China has grown. Government is using much more money on the war on Ukraine, partially at the expense of many other sectors. This year military expenditures will be 6% of GDP. The presentation will explore the current state of the Russian economy as well as its long-term growth potential, whether the economy has adapted to sanctions and if the state has resources to continue the war for long.”
