International graduate admissions: deadlines
Submit a complete application form
To be eligible for assessment, your application must be complete and submitted before:
-
the deadline for the programme to which you are applying (23h59, Paris time) ; or
- the earliest deadline, if you apply to two programmes with different deadlines (23h59, Paris time) ; or
- the deadline for the scholarship you are applying for, where applicable (23h59, Paris time).
BEWARE:
Before submitting your application, please make sure it is complete. Otherwise, your application will not be reviewed.
Deadlines for the Master's programmes
The online applications for the 2021 intake will open early October.
Closing date: 28 February 2021 (23h59, Paris time).
Admission decisions
For the Master Journalism and International Affairs: 31 January 2021 (23h59, Paris time). Applications for this programme will be reviewed after this date.
For all the other Master's programmes, the date on which the admission will release the results depends on the date the complete application was submitted (including completed references). You will receive our decision before:
- 17 December 2020 if you submit your application before 1 November 2020
- 18 February 2021 if you submit your application between 2 November and 6 December 2020
- 18 March 2021 if you submit your application between 7 December 2020 and 3 January 2021
- 15 April 2021 if you submit your application between 4 January and 7 February 2021
- 27 May 2021 if you submit your application between 8 and 28 February 2021
Please note: all deadlines always refer to Paris time (23h59).
If you submit an incomplete application, it will not be reviewed. You will be able to apply again next year.
Deadlines for dual degree programmes
The online applications for the 2021 intake will open early October.
Check the deadlines and the prerequisites by programme.
Please note: If you are applying to both a dual degree and a regular master's programme, you must consider the earliest deadline as your overall application deadline.
The admission decisions for dual degree programmes are made only after all applications have been received and the relevant programme deadline has expired. Candidates are then notified as to the outcome of their application two to three months after the selected programme's application deadline.
Scholarships deadlines
- Eiffel scholarship: 1 November 2020 (23h59, Paris time)
- Émile-Boutmy scholarship: 6 December 2020 (23h59, Paris time)
- Check the deadlines for other scholarships and financial aids.
Please note: the online application form must be completed and submitted by the scholarship deadline. Scholarship applications will not be considered if submitted incomplete or after the deadline.
Useful tips
- Apply as early as possible: Do not wait until the very last day to submit your application. Admission decisions are announced on a rolling basis, so the earlier you submit your application, the sooner you will be notified of Sciences Po's decision.
- Anticipate: Before you start your application, make sure to gather all the information required, for example: request official documents, choose and contact your referees, take your language tests and check your visa status.
- Joint Master in Journalism and International Affairs: There are no rolling admissions for this joint master's programme. Applications will be reviewed after the submission deadline (31 January 2021, 23h59, Paris time).
