A dual BA programme is being offered jointly by Sciences Po and the University of California, Berkeley’s College of Letters & Science. Admission decisions will be made collaboratively by both institutions.

Admissions process

International admissions

Applicants living outside of France or completing a foreign secondary curriculum in France must apply to this programme through the Berkeley website. All information on the admissions process is provided exclusively by Berkeley.

Selection to the programme is based partly on academic achievement. The application file will be processed for the dual BA programme only, and not for any other programmes.

Candidates deemed admissible will be contacted for an interview with representatives from Sciences Po and Berkeley.

If, in addition to this programme, you wish to apply to the Sciences Po general degree programme, you must submit your application via the Sciences Po International Undergraduate Admissions Procedure.

SAT or ACT required

All applicants must provide their scores of the SAT with essay or the ACT with writing. Make sure you take the test in time in order to get your scores by mid-December. More information on the prerequisites.

Interviews

Candidates who apply both to the Dual BA with Berkeley and a Sciences Po undergraduate programme may be invited to two different interviews.

Degrees

At the conclusion of their programme of study, candidates will receive a Sciences Po Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences and Humanities and a Berkeley Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in one of the approved majors of the Berkeley College of Letters and Science.

All graduates of the programme will be guaranteed admission into one of Sciences Po’s Master’s programmes.
