A new web ecosystem for a better experience

With more than 140 sites created over time, Sciences Po's web ecosystem had become complex, redundant, and difficult to navigate. Users struggled to find information, content was sometimes out of date, and accessibility was not always guaranteed.

Faced with these limitations, the Communications Department and the Information Systems Department undertook a complete overhaul of the institutional website.

The goal was to unify, clarify and modernise all sites to provide smooth navigation and relevant information for everyone.

The new architecture showcases the institution, its schools, its activities, its news and its key events. User journeys have been redesigned to facilitate access to documents, services and procedures. A common technical foundation ensures consistency, performance and adaptation to all media. Content management has been simplified, user rights are better regulated, and RGAA compliance is ensured.

Now, creating an integrated mini-site no longer requires an external service provider: everything is fluid and autonomous.

Clearer, more accessible, more efficient: the Sciences Po website is ready.

Some key figures:

  • 19,650 visitors per day
  • 40 million page views
  • more than 5 million views in 2023 on our institutional website

  • More than 55% of visits to our sites are from mobile phones (51% in 2022) and 59% from France (52.3% in 2022).
