What is the Compilatio anti-plagiarism system?
Teach students how to use a wide range of digital sources (websites, digital databases, etc.) whilst applying the principles of digital citation. Compilatio helps you identify any digital documents used that may not have been properly cited.
As a reminder, Sciences Po’s internal regulations state that any breach of the basic rules of integrity and honesty constitutes a failure to fulfil academic obligations.
How does the Compilation anti-plagiarism system work?
- The teacher creates and configures the submission folders on the app according to their requirements before sending the submission link to their students so that they can upload their documents.
- The document is stored and analysed on the Compilatio server. This analysis involves comparing the document against content on the internet, documents submitted by other students, and published material (books, encyclopaedias, etc.).
- A comprehensive and detailed report is available for every document uploaded to the app. Please note that the analysis may take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours..
