SOCIAL SCIENCES PROFESSORS

Jan Rovny

 

Jan Rovny is an assistant professor at Sciences Po’ Center for European Studies (CEE) and the Interdisciplinary Research Center for the Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP). He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and he has previously taught in the United States, the Czech Republic, Germany and Sweden. His research concentrates on political competition in Europe. He is the academic advisor for the social sciences track of our University Programme.

Imola Streho

Imola Streho is an associate professor at the Sciences Po Law School and an associate scholar at the Center of European Studies. Her research focuses particularly on the free movement of services in the EU. Before joining Sciences Po, from 2002 to 2008, she was part of the EU Court of Justice in Luxembourg. Before that, she was Emile Noël Fellow at Harvard Law School and at NYU School of Law where she was executive director of the Jean Monnet Centre. She is Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Sciences Po.

Hélène Thiollet

Hélène Thiollet is a CNRS tenured researcher at Sciences Po and teaches international relations, comparative politics and migration studies at Sciences Po. Her research focuses on the politics of migration and asylum in the Global South, and she focuses her empirical research on the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa. In the Fall 2016, she was a Visiting Scholar at GRTIM University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. Helène coordinated the ANR research project "MobGlob – Global Mobility and Migration Governance" (ANR 2012-2015) with Catherine Wihtol de Wenden.

Tancrède Voituriez

 

Tancrède Voituriez has a Ph.D. in Economics and is director of Global Governance program at Iddri. His research focuses on trade and green innovation relationships, and on the causes of inertia in the implementation of sustainable development policies. He has been involved in numerous research projects on globalisation and sustainable development for the European Commission, the European Parliament, and the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment, among others. He has been lecturer at Sciences Po since 2005.

FRENCH LANGUAGE PROFESSORS

Cécile Bordez

Cécile Bordez has been a French as a foreign language (FLE) teacher since 2000. She has taught at the Cours de civilization française at the Sorbonne in Paris for many years, and also carried out teaching missions in Greece and Romania. She is currently assistant professor at Seoul National Universityin South Korea. Specialist in FLE and applied linguistics, she holds a Master of FLE and Language Teaching and a Master of Linguistics.

Perrine Coudurier

Perrine Coudurier currently teaches French literature and cinema at Sorbonne University. She earned her PhD in Modern French Literature from Sorbonne University in 2014. Her research focuses on the relationship between literature, history, and politics as well as the links between fiction and non-fiction literature. A specialist in 20th century French literature, Perrine Coudurier has been member of the Editorial Board of Acta fabula, a peer-reviewed online journal, since 2012.

Cédric Rousse

Cédric Rousse has been a French as a foreign language (FLE) teacher since 2007. He is graduate of the University of Nantes in FLE and History, with a specialization in international cultural relations, especially between France, Italy and Spain. He first taught French language and civilization abroad, in the Middle East, during an international volunteer mission for the French Government. He has taught at various “grandes écoles” including HEC,EPITA, EPF-ESTP,EIVP, as well at Gustave Eiffel University and Sciences Po Paris. He is currently responsible for the Student Refugees Programme at Ecole des Ponts ParisTech.
