Pre-College Programmes overview

Every year, Sciences Po welcomes secondary school students from around the world as part of the Summer School’s Pre-College Programmes. These programmes are an opportunity to discover Sciences Po and experience college life and academics at one of France’s leading universities.

The Pre-College Programmes challenge students’ perspectives and offer them the opportunity to participate in lively discussions with renowned professors and students from around the world. In addition, the programmes include a rich social and cultural programme in a multicultural social environment, typical of a Sciences Po education.

The Pre-College Programmes iare open to students currently enrolled in secondary school and who will still be in secondary school in Fall 2024. Applicants must be under 18 years old at the time of the programme. Learn more.

Academic Programme

The Pre-College Programme on campus gives high school students a taste of academics at Sciences Po through rigorous coursework in the social sciences, including Master Classes and tutorials taught in English. They also have an elective course of their choice in one of Sciences Po’s key disciplines, taught in English or French. In addition, cultural and social activities are organised for students. Learn more.

The Online Progamme allows students to learn about international relations theories through role-playing exercises that include interactive rounds of negotiation.
