General objective of the politics and public policy stream

This policy stream in Politics and Public Policy offers an excellent preparation for further research work or for work in public sector, policy analysis and consultancy, European institutions, non-governmental organizations and the private sector. Students learn political processes and institutions in democracies and non-democracies around the world with a special focus on the European continent.

Throughout the stream, focus is both on national and European politics. The stream gives students both a specialization in a subfield of political science and rigorous research training.

Emiliano Grossman - Associate Professor at Sciences Po / Centre d'études européennes (CEE)

Emiliano Grossman's research concentrates on comparative politics and comparative public policy. He is the leader of the French Agendas Project which has collected data on all aspects of French policymaking. He is the co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of French Politics. His research is published in international journals such as Comparative Political Studies, Governance or West European Politics. At Sciences Po, he teaches courses on Comparative Politics and Political Communication.
