Biography

Guillaume Chapelle is an assistant professor at the University of Cergy-Pontoise. 

He was a doctoral student at LIEPP/Département d''économie from 2013 to 2017 and defended his thesis "Land and the Housing Market: Three essays on the role of land and its implications for public policies", under the supervision of Etienne Wasmer, in February 2017. 

From October 2017, Guillaume Chapelle continued his research in urban and housing economics as a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute of Economics of Barcelona (IEB) at the University of Barcelona and then as a lecturer at the University of Cergy-Pontoise.

His research focuses mainly on the housing market and the impact of housing policies. He is particularly interested in the relationship between social and private housing.
