Master in Journalism

You have to submit an application form online by January 21.

Please check that you have uploaded the documents below within the form :

  • a CV/resume
  • 2 reference letters (1 academic reference + 1 professional reference)
  • all your transcripts
  • and if needed, your scholarship agreement

You will then have an oral interview to discuss your motivation and your knowledge about the news with a jury. This interview will be done through videoconference.

Joint Master Journalism and International Affairs

Dual degree in Journalism between Sciences Po and Columbia

Students attending the Master's degree in journalism at Columbia University or at Sciences Po University are the only ones who can apply for the dual degree. They have to do so during their first academic year.

Up to ten students are selected every year, five from Sciences Po's School of journalism and five from Columbia University.

The applications are reviewed both by Sciences Po University and by Columbia, which set up a common jury for all candidates.

Students attending Sciences Po School of journalism can apply for the dual degree by filling the application form for Columbia University, accessible online. They have to apply by December 15. Here are the required application materials.
