The MOOC Cities are back in town has just been included in the online courses list allowing to learning about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2015, the United Nations defined 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved by 2030. With the help of SDG Academy, a free online education platform from the UN’s Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), Class Central, another online platform, has brought together the courses that will teach you about the Sustainable Development Goals.
The MOOC Cities are back in town was added on the Class central’s list for the goal 11 : Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. It offers a conceptual and comparative approach to understanding urban models, how they are changing and the social and political issues they raise.
Note that every year, the M1 students had to view 8 sessions of the MOOC "Cities are back in town" during summer and have an exchange session with Patrick Le Galès, author of the MOOC and Dean of the Urban School, during the welcome week.
