Consortium Meeting II CREATE

The annuel meeting of CREATE partners will take place in Paris between june 6-8, and is cohosted by Sciences Po (Centre d'études européennes) and the IAU. The CREATE project (EU funded under Horizon 2020) "Congestion Reduction in Europe, Advanced Transport Efficiency" is one of the first projects that addresses the task Tackling Urban Road Congestion, taking a long-term view of how this can be achieved, especially in cities experiencing rapid growth in car ownership and use. It is led by Prof. Peter Jones (Centre for transport studies, UCL). During 3 days, representatives from 10 European cities, 3 universities, several think tanks and EURICITIES will discuss their first results about the nature and cause of urban road congestion, including a comparative qualitative analysis of transport policy developments in 5 European capital cities led by the Centre d'études européennes de Sciences Po.
