A new Executive Director for the Urban School!

Following the departure of Guillermo Martin at the Executive Education of Sciences Po, Ilaria Milazzo takes over the executive direction of the Urban School.

Graduate of the École des hautes études commerciales de Paris (HEC) and Sciences Po, Ilaria began her career at Capgemini Consulting as a management and change management consultant in regulated sectors in France and abroad.

Portrait of Thomas Chailloux, alumnus

After completing a bachelor's degree at the Paris campus of Sciences Po, Thomas went to Australia for a year to teach French. On returning to France, he joined the Governing the Large Metropolis master's programme and graduated in 2015. He is now a Policy Officer with the NGO Public Interest Advocacy Centre in Sydney. Interview

What is your current job?

I am a public policy analyst at the Public Interest Advocacy Centre, an NGO specialising in public policy development and advice, and strategic litigation.

Anna Luise Büttner, Marion Beaudoin, Laure Lavigne Delville, Lucie de Rivas, Zoé Foulon et Max Tscheltzoff, students of the Master Governing Ecological Transitions in European Cities, made a group project with the European Commission’s DG REGIO in the framework of the Just Transition Mechanism launched in 2020.

Publication of the guide produced by our students with the AIMF!

Entitled «Sobriété et Frugalité Numériques», this practical guide for the mayors of the AIMF, was made as part of a capstone by Rim Ayouch, Kenza Fahim, Hermine Martinez, Mocktoub Razaki and Juliette Yaniv, students of the master Governing the Large Metropolis.

In 2019, the Paris Climate Agency estimated that the share of global carbon emissions generated by cities was 70%.

Alumna profile: Cécile Ivanovsky

After earning a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Sustainable Development Law, Cécile wanted to further her specialisation in urban planning, so she enrolled in the Urban Planning Programme. She graduated in 2017 and is now project manager for prison and justice projects at APIJ.
