Vicente Cuñat is the first CEPR Visiting Chair

With support from the French government and other sponsors, the creation of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) Visiting Chair is the latest CEPR research initiative to strengthen collaboration within the French and international economics research communities. 

The CEPR announced that Vicente Cuñat, visiting faculty at the Department this year, will be the first CEPR Visiting Chair for a 3-month term that began February 1st.

Professor Cuñat will support CEPR's activities in France aimed at strengthening scientific cooperation across the French economic research and policy ecosystem. He will deliver masterclasses on "Shareholder Democracy" and closely mentor a small group of selected PhD students across multiple French academic institutions.

Vicente Cuñat is Professor of Finance at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is also a CEPR Research Fellow and affiliated to the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). His research interests include corporate finance, applied theory, applied econometrics, industrial organization, and labour and personnel economics.
