Pierpaolo Battigalli is Professor of Microeconomic Theory and Game Theory at the Department of Decision Sciences of Bocconi - where he also served as Director of the PhD program in Economics, Dean of the PhD School, and Head of the Department of Decision Sciences. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and of the Game Theory Society, an Economic Theory Fellow, and a “Socio Corrispondente” of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei.

His research focuses on the decision theoretic, epistemic, psychological, and learning foundations of game theory.
