ERC CoG EQUIPRICE Lunch Seminar *via Zoom* - Nov 18th

César DUCRUET is a geographer and Senior Researcher at CNRS/EconomiX (University of Paris-Nanterre). He is a member of the STAR Alliance, the GIS of Maritime History and Sciences, and Chair of the Regional Development for the World Transport Convention. He is an editorial board member of Journal of Transport Geography, Portus, and Mappemonde.
His research interests include network analysis, urban and regional development, and spatial analysis, through the looking glass of ports and shipping networks, with a special focus on Europe and Asia. He was awarded an ERC Starting Grant for his project World Seastems, which analysed the evolution of global shipping networks since the late XIXth century, and published two edited books on Maritime Networks (2015) and Shipping Data Analysis (2017) in the Routledge Studies in Transport Analysis.
César DUCRUET will present his recent work on Inter-City Networks: A Maritime Perspective (read abstract, PDF 18.43 KB) at the EQUIPRICE Lunch Seminar series, organised by Alfred GALICHON in the framework and with funding from his ERC-CoG project EQUIPRICE (Grant agreement No.866274).
