28 rue des Saints-Pères, 75007, ParisMo Xiao is Professor of Economics and Eller Fellow at the University of Arizona. She is also Board Member of the Industrial Organization Society and a consultant for the Berkeley Research Group. Among her current editorial duties, she is Co-Editor of the International Journal of Industrial Organization and of the Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, as well as Associate Editor of the Quarterly Journal of Economics and Management.
Her research applies microeconomic theory and econometrics to analyze various issues concerning firm behaviour and market operation. She has worked on topics concerning firms' strategic provision of information and the impact of public policies on firms' entry, exit and quality choices. Her most recent research is on entry and competition in the U.S. telecommunication market.
She will present a paper, joint with Fernando Luco and Kyle Wilson, at the next Structural Seminar on the topic:
