Portrait of Tristan Tomala

Tristan Tomala is Professor of Economics and Decision Science at the École des hautes études commerciales de Paris (HEC Paris). Prior to joining HEC Paris, he was Assistant Professor (maitre de conférences) at University Paris Dauphine. Among his editorial duties, he is Area Editor (Game Theory) for Operations Research Letters and Associate Editor for the International Journal of Game Theory, Dynamic Games and Applications,  the Journal of Dynamics and Games, and Theory and Decision.

His research interests are about the various aspects of information and communication in dynamic games. He studies strategic information transmission in repeated games using information theory, graph theory and cryptography and has  also a special interest for information and communication networks. His recent works are published in Games and Economic Behavior, Mathematics of Operations Research, Theoretical Economics, and the Journal of Economic Theory.
