Roy-ADRES Seminar with Matthias Schief (OECD)

Matthias Schief is an economist in the Structural Policy Research Division of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)'s Economics Department. He joined the OECD in 2023 just after defending his doctoral dissertation in economics at Brown University. He is also an Associated Researcher at the University of Lausanne's PaceLab.

His recent research focuses on inequality measurement and decomposition, the implications of demographic change for economic growth and income inequality, and the macroeconomic effects of artificial intelligence. More broadly, he is interested in economic growth, macroeconomics, labour economics, and political economy.
