Johannes Hörner is a CNRS Research Director at the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) since 2018. From 2014 to 2023 he was the Alfred Cowles Professor of Economics at Yale. He is also a Fellow of the Econometric Society and an Economic Theory Fellow. Among his editorial duties, he is Associate Editor of Theoretical Economics and of the International Journal of Game Theory.
His research interests range from game theory to the theory of industrial organisation. His research has focused on repeated games, dynamic games, and auctions. Published regularly on the top-tier international reviews, he has also received important grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR).
He will present a paper, joint with Paula Onuchic, at the next Roy-ADRES Seminar on the topic:
