Portrait of Meredith Startz

Meredith Startz is Assistant Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College. She is also Theme Lead for the Innovation, Organizations & Markets programme at Private Enterprise Development in Low-Income Countries (PEDL-CEPR), a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and an Affiliate at BREAD. Among her editorial activities, she is Associate Editor of the Journal of International Economics.

Her research is at the intersection of development and trade and focuses on how information problems shape transactions and firms in developing countries.
