Portrait of Anca D. Cristea

Cristea Anca is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Oregon. She is currently visiting faculty member at CREI at Pompeu Fabra University. She is also a Research Fellow at CESIfo. She serves as a scientific board member of the Midwest International Economics Group, and is the co-founder of the West Coast Trade Workshop. Her previous appointments include consultant for the World Bank.

She is specialized in the area of international economics, with a focus on topics related to international trade and transportation economics. Her research work investigates the impact of trade costs on international trade flows, the organization and activity of multinational corporations, as well as the role of trade and transportation policies for growth and welfare.
