Paris Empirical Political Economics Seminar (PEPES) with Gregory Martin (Stanford

*This seminar will take place in Room R1-14 at the Paris School of Economics.*

Gregory Martin is Associate Professor of Political Economy at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). Prior to joining Stanford, he was Assistant Professor of Political Science at Emory University.

His research focuses on political marketplaces, including the market for political news, the political media consulting industry, and the allocation of grant funding by legislatures. He publishes in the top-tier international journal in both political science and in economics (Review of Economics and Statistics, American Econimic Review).  In 2021 he was awarded the Political Science Research & Methods Best Paper Prize for his paper Does Residential Sorting Explain Geographic Polarization?
