Portrait of Werner Ploberger

Werner Ploberger is Professor of Economics and the Thomas H. Eliot Distinguished Professor in Arts & Sciences at Washington University at Saint Louis (WUSTL).  Since he received his PhD degree in Applied Mathematics at Vienna University of Technology in 1981 and his Habilitation in Econometrics there in 1993, he has been affiliated with the Vienna University of Technology, the University of St. Andrews, and the University of Rochester. He joined WUSTL in 2006.

His research focus is in the areas of statistics, econometric methodology and time-series econometrics.
