Portrait of Lucas Resende

Lucas Resende is a Potsdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for research in economics and statistics (CREST) and ENSAE, where he is working on the project From Healthcare Accessibility to Health Outcomes A statistical and machine learning approach to large-scale graphs (Graph4Health). He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA) in Brazil.

His research focuses on high dimensional probability and its applications to mathematical statistics and machine learning. He is currently working on robust statistics.

He will present a paper, joint with Philippe Choné and Guillaume Lecué, at the first Paris Econometrics Seminar of the academic year, to be held at CREST, on the topic:
